Dan Hughes

Having slowly but surely built a loyal fanbase over the past decade Dan Hughes truly is the example of a hard working Independent musician in a forever changing landscape.

Being surrounded by music from an early age Dan has been performing and playing in local bands and regional outfits being exposed to different music and styles.

In 2016 Dan released Dan Hughes Trio’s debut album ‘Neil’ which saw tours of the Far East, Europe and Caribbean growing his fanbase along the way. The album was released on UK/Indian indie record label ‘Panda Records’ which was the first indie album to come out on a European/ Asian Record label, gaining a cult following. 2017 saw a return to the Far East in support of ‘Neil’ where he played a string of dates across South Korea including the ‘Green Blue Festival’ and featuring on Korean TV Show ‘Band of Dreams’

In 2018 Dan was back in the UK playing session guitar for US guitarist/ Grammy Winner Janet Robin(Lindsey Buckingham, Randy Rhodes) on her UK tour as well as later that year playing bass guitar for X factor duo The Shure’s. Alongside this Dan was back on the road performing solo show’s and working on some new music for the follow up to the trio debut album ‘Neil’.

2024 had Dan working with legendary bassit Sean Hurley (John Mayer, Lizzy McAlpine, Gwen Stefani, Jason Mraz, Lukas Graham, Colbie Caillat)
