DESCRIPTION:Founded in a pub in Oxford\, Moonaroon have been performing together since 2019\, bringing their own unique mix of folk music traditions to audiences around the UK. \nMoonaroon’s sound is a midpoint between several traditional styles of music\, with their aim being to present music that is as much of a elting pot as the British Isles they come from. \nWith a unique talent for arranging both songs and instrumental tunes\, Moonaroon aim to bring a new sound to music from hundreds of years ago\, adding new life into a revitalised folk tradition. \nMoonaroon are releasing an EP titled ‘More in Store’ in early 2023 and will be playing a series of EP launch shows across the UK.

DESCRIPTION:Continuing our St Paddy’s Folk Weekend we have The Jesters! \n  \nJesters are a three-piece psychedelic folk band\, mixing their own songs with rabble-rousing fiddle and guitar tunes. They also perform complete remakes of traditional ballads\, and adapt European folk melodies from Poland to Greece. And they’ve played at three Cornbury Music Festivals\, as well as at dozens of pub and club venues in Oxfordshire and further afield\, and at music festivals in Filey\, Fishguard\, Glastonbury\, Paignton\, Poole\, Weymouth and elsewhere.
