DESCRIPTION:We’d like to invite you to our inaugural wine tasting event on Saturday 11th February in the gorgeous Pavilion at James Street Tavern. The afternoon will be hosted by Toby Chiles DipWSET and will consist of 9 wines with accompaniments. \nWine Tasting should be all about enjoying wine and having fun. Learn about wine with like-minded people in an un-stuffy way! \nThe afternoon will be educational yet fun\, with a focus on wine tasting techniques\, wine trivia and wine and food matching\, and we’ll even throw some surprises in along the way. No prior wine knowledge is required\, just a love of wine! \nDo you think red wine works with all cheeses? Why doesn’t fish work with red wine? Would a dab of salt on your tongue ruin a red wine? How do you cope with spicy food and wine? \nAll these questions\, and more\, can be answered on the day in a way you are sure to remember. \nPlaces are limited\, so book your places to avoid disappointment. Special introductory price of £30 per head.
